About Your Visit

Insurance Information

We accept most major insurance plans.

Fees & Payments

We make every effort to decrease the cost of your medical care. Therefore, we request payment arrangements for all office services at the time they are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards for your convenience. If we are a participating provider of your insurance company, we will bill them. However, payment is the patient's responsibility. We will help in any way we can to assist you in handling claims.

Financial Information

A staff member from our business office may call before your surgery to explain your insurance benefits. You may be required to make a full or partial payment at the time of admission. We accept personal checks, cash and most major credit cards. Financing options are also available.

Please note you will receive three bills for your surgery:

  • Oregon Outpatient Surgery (Facility)
  • Your Surgeon's Fee
  • Your Anesthesiologist's Fee

Prescriptions & Renewals

Please call your doctor's office. We do not refill prescriptions.

Patient Satisfaction

We want your surgical experience to meet your needs and expectations. We will ask you to complete a patient satisfaction questionnaire and return it to us. We appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Before Your Surgery

Your surgeon's office has scheduled your surgery based on your procedure and needs. A member of our trained nursing staff will contact you before your surgery to confirm that date and time, and give final preoperative instructions. The anesthesiologist may also contact you. If you have any questions, you may reach us at (503) 612-8452.

Do not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before your surgery unless you are otherwise instructed.

You will be advised if you should continue any routine medications, including those to treat heart, asthma, diabetes or blood pressure conditions, before surgery. If you use an inhaler or C-Pap machine, please bring it with you.

Bathe or shower the morning of surgery or the night before. Wear loose-fitting clothes, keeping in mind any dressings or support devices you may be required to wear after surgery.

Transportation to Your Surgery

Please arrive on time, and make arrangements for a responsible adult to drive you home and stay with you for the first 24 hours after surgery. You are not permitted to leave alone after receiving anesthesia. Transportation via taxi is not recommended. We ask that the person responsible for taking you home remain at the facility while your surgery is taking place.
